Now, when I say you can have this cake for breaky, I mean I’m not nutritionist so honestly, I would not take my word for it;) But you do you, I say!
So, this cake was a staple for me growing up, and it was for my mum too, and do you know what, I think this may well be the same recipe my great grandmother baked when Nan was young. I really love the thought that these recipes are still going strong. What a sturdy cake to make it through this many decades.
